Terms of Service

TickOff is a productivity app designed to help you manage tasks, track focus sessions, organise notes and review your work. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to use TickOff. You are responsible for the security of your account and agree not to use TickOff for unlawful activity.

You own the tasks, notes, habits and other content you create in TickOff. We do not claim ownership over your content.

TickOff includes optional AI features including the Tickie assistant, AI Voice Input, AI Notes tools such as Dictate, Summarise, Expand, Change Tone, Fix & Polish and Extract Tasks, and personalized insights such as Best Time of Day and Daily Insight Popups.

AI features require your own API key from Google AI Studio. By using AI features, you agree to Google’s Terms of Service and usage policies for the Gemini API. You are responsible for maintaining your API key and for any usage connected to it. When using the Tickie assistant, recent parts of your conversation may be included with each message so it can respond in context; this is still sent directly from your device using your own key.

TickOff servers do not receive or process AI requests and responses. Your Tickie conversation is saved to your account so it can sync across your devices, as described in the Privacy Policy. AI-generated content remains subject to your review, and you are responsible for any content added to your account.

If you connect Google Calendar or Google Tasks, you authorise TickOff to read relevant data so it can help create and organise tasks. TickOff does not modify or delete your Google Calendar events or Google Tasks. You can revoke access at any time.

TickOff Pro is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features such as Telegram reminders, Google Calendar sync and unlimited habits. Payments are processed by Paystack; TickOff does not store your card details.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before then. We’ll remind you ahead of each renewal, at 7 days, 3 days and 1 day before your plan renews, through the app and, if connected, Telegram. You can cancel anytime from Settings; cancelling stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Your account is signed out immediately and enters a 30-day grace period, during which signing back in cancels the deletion. After 30 days, your account and data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered, except where we are required to retain certain data for a valid legal reason.

We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We aim to keep TickOff available and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.

TickOff is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Outvixe Creative Agency is not liable for loss of data, interruption or damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TickOff after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, where Outvixe Creative Agency operates. If you are located outside Nigeria, local consumer protection and data protection laws that cannot be waived by contract still apply to you alongside these terms.
